The International Bursary offers £2,000 fee reduction for self-funded international students across our postgraduate taught (PGT) courses starting in September 2025.
This bursary was designed to reward students based on their academic profile and payment of the course deposit.
Who is eligible?
To be considered, here’s what you will need:

To achieve a 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, or a China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years work experience);

Have an offer to study one of our postgraduate taught courses starting in September 2025;

Pay your £5,000 course deposit by 30 August 2025.
Award details
Value: £2,000 tuition fee reduction applied each year for a maximum of one year for full time courses and two years for full-time courses running over two years, (for example, if you enrol on to a two-year full time postgraduate taught program, the fee reduction will apply to both years of study).
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Must have a 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, or a China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years experience).

Must be classed as an Overseas fee-paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government.

Must have an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2025.

Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit within the stated deadline to secure the fee reduction.

All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel.
Those not eligible for this Bursary

Applicants NOT classed as Overseas for fee purposes, based on the UK government regulations or those with an unresolved fee status.

Applicants who are being sponsored by a Government or external body.

The award is not available to Postgraduate Research applicants (i.e. PhD, MPhil).

The award is not available for Brunel Medical School courses, namely MSc Physician Associate.

Applicants who will NOT commence their course in September 2025, this includes deferred entry month and year.

Applicants entering a course with Brunel Pathway College (BPC) or who are progressing to a Brunel course from an BPC course.

Applicants holding an offer to study by Distance Learning.

Applicants holding offers to study on a part-time programme.

Applicants holding offers to study on an online learning programme.
